Brighter times for the tourism industry in sight?

Share/like this post:

With the international recession, all problems with the euro and other economic uncertainties around the world the tourism industry has not seen very bright times over the last few (or not so few!) years. Is it perhaps time for a change?

The big Scandinavian tourism fair called TUR-mässan (Swedish International Travel and Tourism Trade Fair) recently closed its door after for days of show and the conclusion from it gives at least a glimmer of hope. This travel and tourism show reported an increase in the number of “deals” during the show. Their automated “dating system” registered 850 professional meetings during the show, up from only 500 in the previous edition.

That sounds excellent. And even if the world economy still is not in top notch shape at least it can raise the spirit to more positive levels if you go on a well chosen trip. Why not one of the world’s best wine and food tours?
