Meeting with the Ambassador of Argentina and the Minister of Tourism

The other night I was invited over to the Embassy of Argentina to meet with the Ambassador and with the Argentinean minister of tourism. We had a very nice evening with lots of Argentinean food and some delicious wines from Argentina.

Well, it wasn’t just me who was there of course. It was an Argentinean evening organised in connection with the big tourism event in Paris called TopResa, so there were a few other people involved in travel and tourism who were there too.

I guess we must be doing something right with our wine tours in South America if the Argentinean Embassy in France invites us over for a cocktail and food, wine, and music evening even if it is not a tête-à-tête. ;-)

Here’s a short snippet from the ambassador’s introduction and the ministers short introduction.

We were greeted with an interesting cocktail when we arrived, made from the herbal tea mate. No doubt it contributed to everyone’s festive feelings.
