Vineyard dispatch:

Montrachet, Burgundy

Share/like this post:

Our “Vineyard Dispatches” are quick and spontaneous updates on what’s been happening in the vineyards and wine regions, live from our wine tours, or “almost live” on what we did a little while ago on one of our wine adventures. Mainly with photos from our travels in vineyards, wineries and wine regions. A glimpse from us from the wine country explorers. You could have been with us!

Admiring some of the most expensive farmland in the world. Looking out over the vines in the vineyard Le Montrachet in Puligny-Montrachet in Burgundy. They produce some of the world’s most highly appreciated chardonnay wines.

The land here is not really something you can put a value on. And a patch hardly ever comes up for sale. If it did, it would probably fetch 5-10 million euro per hectare. Perhaps more, perhaps twice….

Why not join us on one of our upcoming tours?! You will travel with some of the world’s most experienced wine tour organisers and wine writers, Britt and Per Karlsson, founders of BKWine; creating world-leading wine tours since more than 20 years and internationally award winning authors of 13 wine books. See all our currently scheduled wine tours here.
